Our team is led by Stacy Hamilton - a mum, an aunt and a safety professional, who got tired of the lack of effective resources available for young, vulnerable or new workers entering the workforce.
There are many tools and programs out there, but none that we’ve seen really tackle what motivates young or new workers or considers how they learn and retain information.
Think back to when you first started working – what did you really know about how to behave and communicate in a work environment? Probably not much, and that’s ok! It can be really scary and we want to take some of the mystery out of it so it’s more enjoyable for everyone.
What makes us jump out of bed every morning? That’s a no brainer! We have three main goals:
To eradicate the 1 in 5 statistic of young people under 25 being injured in the workplace; and
To give young people the skills employers most want and need when hiring (we’re not just talking safety)
To remind employers what it’s like to be a new or young worker and help them to better engage with their staff.
We’re here to go on the journey with you, not give you a few quick tips and send you on your way. This has been a passion of Stacy’s for a long time and to see it come to fruition is indescribable.
